
AMAL Literacy Center is a pioneering initiative established by the Ladies First Association in 2019, shortly after the association’s founding. The center, currently managed by a director and a team of three dedicated teachers, offers a supportive learning environment for women. With three active classes serving a total of 40 women, the center is committed to empowering its participants through education and personal development.
Objectives
-Social Empowerment: Enhance women’s social empowerment by providing them with the opportunities and resources to acquire essential skills and knowledge, thereby improving their overall quality of life.
-Continuing Education: Support women’s ongoing educational journeys by offering scholarships, educational courses, and workshops on a range of subjects, including literacy, computer skills, and management, to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
-Psychological Support: Deliver comprehensive psychological and counseling services to assist women in overcoming personal challenges, building self-confidence, and fostering resilience.
-Skill Development: Focus on practical skill-building through tailored training programs that address the specific needs of women, including vocational skills and life skills necessary for personal and professional success.
-Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community and collaboration among participants by creating a supportive network where women can share experiences, resources, and encouragement.
-Impact Assessment: Regularly assess the impact of the center’s programs on participants’ personal growth and educational advancement to continually refine and improve the services offered.
