Regueb is a city in central Tunisia located 37 kilometers southeast of Sidi Bouzid.
Regueb is a city in central Tunisia located 37 kilometers southeast of Sidi Bouzid.
It is a municipality created on May 7, 1979 and with 11,420 inhabitants in 2014. It is also the capital of a delegation created in 1956 of 58,776 inhabitants.
Geography:
Regueb is located 90 kilometers from Sfax, 250 kilometers from Tunis, 110 kilometers from Kairouan and 90 kilometers from the city of Gafsa.
Economy:
Regueb's economy is essentially based on agriculture since 90% of its land is potentially exploitable. The region produces olive oil, market garden produce and fruit.
